Amber,
I kept trying to post a comment to your latest blog entry but the site was not cooperating. Anyway, raw veggies and most salads will be good for dorm life. Also, you could buy a mini george foreman grill to cook chicken and other lean meat. Great job with the sit-ups. Next time you come in, we will definitely work on sprinting and continue with upper body strength development. Have a great week!

Hey everyone,
So I pushed through and made it through my first week of Law Enforcement Academy…YAY!!! Tommorrow will be our obstacle course challenge. I am terrified of hights but I am sure I will make it through this crazy highwire course. I took my first exam today and scored an 81%. Not bad for my first exam. This Wednesday we did our physical to see where we stand. I did pretty well for a girl… haha. I did 65 situps in under 2 minutes. But what kicked my behind was the push-ups. I did 11 in under 2 minutes. So I am working on that in addition to running. The instructor made you do 300 meters in under one minute. No one did well. I was somewhere in the middle. I miss Aspen. I actually had a dream two nights ago that I was hiking on Ute trail. The scenery out here IS very beautiful but I do miss the environment of the Aspen Club and Spa and my trainer pushing me. I am learning so much that my brain is so inflated now
Well, see you next week and please take it slow when starting to get your routine down. Or else you will hurt in the morning. I now know where all my muscles that I haven’t used before is. Miss you all take care.
P.S. Tuna fish and oat meal is getting boring!!! Do you have any dorm receipes that is healthy?

Hello all,
As you can see I was able to have the privilege of the Aspen Club and Spa set me up with a blog of my own. My trainer Tom spoke to Sarah about placing me in “People” magazine which is a once in a lifetime chance for me. Nothing exciting really ever happens in my life. So I figured ‘hey why not, this is my chance to show everyone that they too can be motivated by a “real” person. Not an actor or actress that just wants to lose 5-10 measly pounds.’ Since I was excited about the whole idea, Sarah also mentioned to me about a blog and how you all can keep track of my results and weight loss adventure through my 3 months in the Law Enforcement Academy. This Sunday I leave to set up my dorm room. I must say… this might be my longest 3 months ever. Aspen Club and Spa is very much like my second home. I will deeply miss all the staff members who are always smiling at me and my trainer Tom… who always says “okay, ready”, when I walk in for a good workout. I will be coming back on July 21 to do the 5K run/walk with my trainer in Aspen. We will most likely have lots to talk about. Every day I see him we always come up with something to either talk or joke about. I should set up a massage on Saturday before I head out for boot camp… HeHe…
Here is something for all of you:
Enjoy life to its’ fullest…live it day to day, not year to year.
